ABOUT THE BAND
Rhapsody, purveyors of classic rock and blues rock are well known for their fun and crazy gigs in Cork since the foursome got together in 2019. After their debut three song EP “The Beginning” in 2019 Adam McGrath (lead guitarist/backing vocals), Daniil Grinyov (Drums) and Sean Cosgrove (Lead vocals) are now looking forward to releasing new music in 2020!

Adam McGrath
Lead Guitarist
Adam McGrath is the founder, lead guitarist, manager and backing vocalist of the band Rhapsody. He was just 9 years old when he started to play guitar and by the time he was the lead guitarist of a rock band. In the years before he started Rhapsody he was uploading guitar covers on YouTube and in 2019 he released his debut single “Sunset”. He continues to write music and play gigs with Rhapsody.
Daniil Grinyov
Drummer
A band wouldn't be complete without its Drummer, and the band Rhapsody could not have asked for a better one. Daniil Grinyov/ Danny G is the second member to join Rhapsody. He knew Adam McGrath (Lead Guitarist) from being in “The Academy of Popular Music”. Adam posted an advert on Snapchat saying that he’s looking for a drummer and Danny called Adam excitedly wanting to be the drummer of the band. Danny continues to play the drums in Rhapsody.
Sean Cosgrove
Lead Vocalist
Sean Cosgrove is truly a fantastic! He is the third member of the band! He knew Adam McGrath (Lead Guitarist) from being in “The Academy Of Popular Music”. He responded to an advert on Adams Instagram saying he was looking for a vocalist to be in a band. Sean continues to write songs and sing in Rhapsody.
Shay Ahern
Pianist
Shay Ahern is a fantastic pianist. The band couldn’t be happier to have such an incredible pianist up on stage. Shay joined the band when he was speaking to Adam in “The Academy of Popular Music”. He was skeptical about joining the band but then he changed his mind and he now loves playing in Rhapsody!
